Yes. This place is overflowing with potential. Now whether that potential will lead to salvation or ruin... Well, I'm pretty interested in seeing the answer.

[There's something mysterious in his voice and expression now. Clearly, he's been hanging out with Alcor for a little too long. But it was true, Hiro was interested in seeing how they, as the survivors of their worlds would end up.]

Of course I'd want to see the former happening over the latter. But with these many personalities around, I'm sure that ideals are bound to collide.

[Naoki just tips his head slightly. Ah, so this guy has enigmatic moments.

He doesn't say anything to whether it'll lead to salvation or ruin, thinking of the Lady in Black as well as Lucifer and thinking how nice things are when they're stated more plainly... yes...]

'Course ideals are bound to collide. Just like personalities. But here, right now, I think people want to get back more than anything. This world isn't ending [yet] so it's not as... [He waves a hand, searching for the word.] ...big a part here.

Well, that could change at any time, but for now there isn't too much collision happening.

Yeah, I'm kinda bummed out about those Flamines jerks destroying worlds. [Frankly, this wasn't anything new for him... But considering that he was the guardian of his previous world, Hiro felt responsible over being unable to do something. All he could do was keep moving forward and think about his choices.]

I honestly want everyone to get along considering that we've all got the power to do something. But seeing that we're kept under lock and chain because of that organization... We can only keep living day by day.

[Both a blessing and a curse within itself. Living every day to the fullest was what it meant to be human. But that peace could've been taken away from them in an instant. It was all the more reason why he was eager to fight.]

If it is true. [Naoki frowns. He's also had his fill of world-destroying events... but he still can't believe in what CERES has told them all, either. That would ask an amount of trust from him he's not willing to give.]

We'll find a way. We can keep living and be ready and keep looking for our chance.

You really don't believe it, huh? I'm glad that some people haven't lost hope yet.

[Hiro wasn't as naive as he lead people to believe sometimes, but he was a pretty accepting person. Not in the sense that he was going to lie back and accept this... But with what the facts they had and from his own experiences, he knew that there had to be a way to restore their worlds. Just hearing Naoki's response was making him all the more pumped up.]

Heh... I'm looking forward to kicking the Flamines asses! [If they have any.] As long as we stick together, then they'll be no match for us!

[If they have any indeed. Naoki will be right on board that ship to kick flamine ass or, alternatively, CERES ass. Depending on what the weather's like, who's being dastardly that day, that old thing.]

Sounds good. I'm all for taking down whatever gets in our way to get back to our worlds.

You open for sparring together sometime? I gotta keep my moves sharp if we're gonna be stuck here for the long haul.

[And frankly, he's still unsure on what he was capable of as an Administrator. Just because he destroyed Canopus doesn't mean that he couldn't get too cocky. There were definitely beings out there who were just as strong or even stronger than the Divine Order of the Universe.]

Soon I'm gonna have more partners than I can count. [His lips twist in amusement, though, and he flaps one of his hands.] But yeah, why not. I'll spar with you, I've got the time.

Awesome! I'll come tango with you in the dojo place that you-- [Wait, now that he thought about it...]

Um... Is there a dojo here? Where do all the brawlers come to hang out? A Fight Club that we're not allowed to talk about?

If there was a Fight Club I wouldn't be able to tell you about it. [Gravely...

But then, with a grin:] I usually train away from things 'cause my sparring gets kind of... explosive. But there is a big gym, with a dojo in it.

[He's looking all sparkly eyed now.]

Whooooooa! Seriously?! I wanna check that out! And your way sounds really fun too. [A beat.] Y'know what, I'm gonna do both things.

[There was literally no stopping Hiro whenever he got energetic about something.]

[Naoki grins.] Try to space 'em out, do 'em on two different days at least.

And if you wanna come train with me in my spot, great, there'll be explosions. If not, I'll hold back at the dojo.

O-Oh, yeah... Spacing out is a thing. I'll remember that. [HIRO...]

But I can honestly fight you in both places! Dojos for the traditional flavors and when I'm in the mood to be a cool guy who doesn't run from an explosion.

Don't worry, at least it'll be fire instead of the big explosions like in movies.

[He says, as though it's COMPLETELY REASSURING... But his grin says he knows exactly what he's saying and how it could be taken.]

Ah... You're a fire user, huh? Just you know, I like my skin to be well done and not charbroiled. Helps for working out a tan.

[If Naoki's being in good humor about it, then Hiro was going to raise up the humor to eleven and fly straight into the moon.]

I'll keep my fireballs at a nice heat for you then. Maybe cool you off with a blast of wind after.

[So yes, not limited to just fire, but he doesn't go into too much depth on his abilities on a day-to-day basis.]

Oooh... So you've got wind too? You can even equal as a blow dryer!

[Despite his carefree nature, he was pretty perceptive. So he could take in the small hints. Hiro was glad that he was being a good sport about this instead of being, well, overly paranoid.]

Yep. You could say I've got the skills to be many a mundane household tool.

[Naoki nods seriously... isn't he useful? As a heater, too, but we don't talk about that one.]

I can relate! Though... [He tentatively looks at his hand.] Sometimes, I feel like a freakin' tank. Power is power, but it all depends on how you use it.

[Naoki smiles wryly, looking down at his own hands. He curls tattooed fingers where they're resting.]

Yeah. There's not much good to it if you can't use it to protect the things you want to.
