[Proudly, Hiro simply rests the sword over his shoulder for a heroic pose. Similar to a certain protagonist that involves Fantasies, Finales and Sevens.]

It's one of my original killer techniques! If magical potential needs a tool for channeling, then I simply turned this sword into that 'channel'.

[Which required more focus than one would think. But Hiro's imagination and talent made it a pretty effective killer technique.] I never tried it with other elements asides fire, though.

[Naoki keeps his applause going for another moment while Hiro poses, biting back his amused grin or his chuckles. What he's saying is interesting, though, and Naoki comes closer.]

This is the first time I've seen something like that.

[It's definitely impressive.]

[Holding up the sword again, Hiro will concentrate and the blade turns red with a small flame appearing the tip.]

Maybe if I work hard... I can create a long-ranged move. It'd be pretty neat to use in a fight.

[ViViD would open more doors for sure. Back in his world, he always hunted down demons when he had time to kill for some extra grinding. In any case, he'll be pointing the sword forward as he starts to walk up the stairs.]

Okay! Let's keep moving!

Like a flamethrower-sword.

[Naoki's voice is light as he eyes the sword, but if he did have something like a flamethrower sword, that'd be pretty formidable. Naoki switches between close and long range combat depending on the opponent, but it's always good to have a long-range move.

He trots after Hiro, falling into step beside him.]

[Now there's an idea. Maybe he could make that into reality for the future...

Whenever Hiro steps into the next room... What awaits them is a platform followed a bunch of other floating platforms across a black abyss waiting for them from below. On the otherwise is a treasure chest and another door. A normal person would've shown some caution... Hiro, however, was smirking at the new challenge.]

Now this looks fun and dangerous. We're gonna take this room on!

And-- we're not going to cheat by just flying across?

[Lightly, as Naoki looks down into the black abyss and contemplates trying to find something to toss down into it. Pixie huffs and shakes her head, remarking who'd waste time trying to cross those when you could just fly?]

Nooooo waaaaaay. That takes the fun out of this!

[Hence why Hiro takes a few steps back and hops onto a platform that flows by. Sure, he could fly... But there wouldn't be any challenge if he decided to bulldoze through with his Admin powers.]

Taking risks is all part of the adventure.

Ah, sure sure.

[With a hup, Naoki easily lands onto the next platform, crouching with one of his hands laid on it. Pixie flutters around his head, muttering about him just jumping like that without warning her and don't blame her if you both fall to your doom.]

So is this what it's like to be a character in a platformer...?

It's different whenever we're the ones not controlling the character on the scre--Hah!?

[Whenever Hiro jumps into the next one... There's a rumbling noise and a giant shark pops up from the abyss to devour a few platforms that were laying up ahead. To say that he wasn't expecting this was an understatement.]

Holy shit... I knew there was going to be a catch!

Hey, don't worry. It's only a giant shark.

[Only, he says, in a soothing voice.

Naoki's still looking down into the abyss where that shark was, though, bracing himself... and leaping to a platform ahead. Just in time, because that thing is popping up a little ways behind him.]

Well, y'know, It could be worst!

[He'll flip up and land onto another platform.] The next thing that could happen is that it starts raining acid or something!

Aren't you asking for it, saying that?

Ah-- I think I feel a little of my hair being burned away by acid, [mournfully (fake) as he bunches his legs, leaping to another platform easily.]
